498 <br /> <br />Approval of Resolution Declarin~ Wrecked Ambulance Surplus and Authorlzin~ Sale <br />b~ Sealed Bid and Authorization for Staff to Proceed with Purchase of New <br /> <br />Ambulance <br /> <br /> The Board unanimously adopted the following Resolution declaring Ambulance <br />#943 surplus and authorizing the sale of the unit by sealed bid. Further, the <br />Board authorized staff to proceed with the purchase of a new ambulance. <br /> <br />Resolution No. 1998-08 <br /> <br />STATE OF NORTH CAROLINA <br />CABARRUS COUNTY <br /> <br />RESOLUTION <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, General Statute 160A, Article 12, set forth <br />procedures and requirements for cities in selling and disposing of <br />property. Procedures include private negotiation and sale, sale by <br />sealed bids, auction, upset bids, and exchanges; and <br /> WHEREAS, this board desires to dispose of a 1994 Ford VIN <br />number 1FDLF47M4REA15141. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of Commissioners <br />of Cabarrus County as follows: <br /> That in accordance with the provisions of General Statute <br />160A-267, this Board authorizes the County Purchasing Agent to <br />dispose of the 1994 Ford by advertisement and sealed bid. <br /> Adopted this 16th day of February, 1998. <br /> <br /> /s/ Sue B. Mattox: Smith/Wesson 9mm Model 15906 <br />Ser: TEM2023. <br /> <br />Soil Erosion and Sediment Control - Adoption of Minimum Erosion Control Standards <br /> <br />for Lots/Development That Are Not Larqe Enough to Require Plans and Adoption of <br />Review/Inspection Fees <br /> <br /> The Board unanimously adopted the following minimum erosion control <br />standards for lots/developments that are not large enough to require plans to be <br />submitted and adopted the following review/inspection fees for these <br />lots/developments. Both the standards and the fees are effective March 1, 1998. <br /> <br />You Are Required to Install Adequate Sediment Control Measures on <br />Your Property. Construction will not be allowed to continue if <br />sediment controls have not been adequately installed. <br /> <br />CONSTRUCTION SEQUENCE <br />1. Obtain all necessary permits° <br />2. Install gravel construction entrance, silt fence, or <br /> other adequate sediment control measures. <br />3. Begin clearing and grubbing land. <br />4. Temporary seed and straw mulch outside actual building area, <br /> to help control soil erosion. <br />5. Complete grading. <br />6. Stabilize the site with adequate ground cover' to <br /> restrain the soil from excelarated (sic) erosion. <br />7. Remove sediment and erosion control measures after the site <br /> has been stabilized. <br />GENERAL NOTES <br /> Certificate of occupancy will not be issued and/or fines may <br />be assessed if the site is in violation with Cabarrus County Soil <br />Erosion and Sedimentation Control Ordinance. <br /> Sediment controls (silt fence) must be maintained after each <br /> rainfall event. <br /> Stone must be placed along the upstream or upslope side of the <br />silt fence toe and/or bottom, to anchor fence. (See construction <br />details.) <br /> <br /> <br />
