50 <br /> <br />(2) Two copies of the record of patient treatment shall be given to the <br />ambulance crew when they assume control of the patient's care at the <br />emergency scene. <br />(3) A copy of the completed record of patient treatment will be given to the <br />coordinator of the county emergency management on a monthly basis. <br /> <br />Sec. 26-60. Grievance procedure. <br />(a) The first responder agency will be responsible for resolving grievances <br />between its own members. <br />(b) Grievances from a first responder agency toward the county emergency <br />medical services shall be submitted in writing by the first responder and co- <br />signed by the fire chief or his designee to the director of county emergency <br />medical services. <br />(c) Grievances from county emergency medical services personnel or county <br />commissioners toward a first responder shall be submitted in writing to the <br />director of county emergency medical services who shall evaluate the grievance <br />and, if necessary relay it to the fire chief of the appropriate agency. <br />(d) If the grievance cannot be resolved between the first responder agency <br />and the county emergency medical service a copy of the written grievance will <br />be forwarded to county first responder advisory board for its investigation <br />and ruling. The board's ruling is binding. <br />(e) When a grievance has been settled by the emergency medical services <br />director if there is any rebuttal from the organization or the person against <br />whom the complaint was filed, that person or organization must go through the <br />proper procedures to get the grievance before first responder advisory board <br />for their ruling. The person or organization is not to communicate directly <br />with the organization filing the original grievance. <br /> <br />Sec. 26-61. Standards for Training. <br />(a) Standards for training shall be those required by the state office of <br /> emergency medical services for medical responders or emergency medical <br /> technicians. <br /> <br /> <br />
