Linda Morgan, Tax Collection <br />Supervisor, requested to be relieved of the vehicle bills for renewal months <br />March 2000 through February 2001 which are now three years past due. <br /> <br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner Privette, seconded by Commissioner Carruth <br />and unanimously carried, the Board relieved the Tax Collector of the charge <br />of collecting taxes on classified motor vehicles for renewal months March <br />2000 through February 2001. <br /> <br />(F-15) Traffic Impact Study for the Former Fairgrounds and Related Budget <br />Amendment <br /> <br /> Redevelopment of the former Fairgrounds property requires a Traffic <br />Impact Study be completed. This study is required for all potential buyers to <br />obtain zoning permits. Kimley-Horn submitted a proposal to complete the <br />study for an amount not to exceed $9,800.00. <br /> <br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner Privette, seconded by Commissioner Carruth <br />and unanimously carried, the Board authorized the employment of Kimley-Horn <br />to perform the Traffic Impact Study of the former Fairgrounds property at a <br />cost not to exceed $9,800.00 and adopted the following budget amendment: <br /> <br />BUDGET REVISION/AMENDMENT REQUEST <br /> <br />DEPARTMENT OF COMMERCE <br />AMOUNT: $9,800.00 <br />TYPE OF ADJUSTMENT: Transfer Between Departments/Funds <br />PURPOSE OF REQUEST: Appropriate funds for traffic impact study for former <br />fairgrounds property. <br /> <br /> Present <br />Account No. Approved Budqet <br />00191920-9445-0542 $47,012.00 <br /> Purchased Services - Old Fair Grounds <br />00195620-9454 $5,225,778.00 <br />Medicaid Assistance <br />00191910-9240 $362,324.00 <br />Other Benefits <br /> <br />Increase Decrease <br /> <br />$9,800.00 <br /> <br />$6,800.00 <br /> <br />$3,000.00 <br /> <br />Revised Budqet <br /> <br /> $56,812.00 <br />$5,218,978.00 <br /> <br /> $359,324.00 <br /> <br />(G) NEW BUSINESS <br /> <br />(G-l) <br /> <br />Zoning Ordinance Text Amendment (Wireless Telecommunications <br /> <br />Ordinance) Public Hearing at 6=30 p.m. <br /> <br /> Rodger Lentz, Planning and Zoning Manager, reported the Board had hired <br />Municipal Solutions in January 2004 for the technical review of Wireless <br />Telecommunications facilities. As part of the contract, the consultant <br />provided a model ordinance for use in enforcing the regulations. Mr. Lentz <br />reported the Planning and Zoning Commission had reviewed the proposed <br />regulations and recommended adoption. <br /> <br /> At 7:36 p.m., Chairman Freeman opened the public hearing on the <br />proposed Wireless Telecommunications regulations. The Public Hearing Notice <br />was published in THE INDEPENDENT TRIBUNE on May 7 and May 16, 2004. <br /> <br /> <br />
