Further, <br />the Board invited Mike Downs, Deputy County Manager and Don Cummings, Human <br />Resources Director, to join the Board in Closed Session. <br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner Carpenter, seconded by Acting chairman <br />Carruth and unanimously carried, the Board voted to come out of Closed <br />Session. <br /> <br />Management of the C~harrus Arena and Events Center <br /> UPON MOTION of Acting chairman Carruth, seconded by Commissioner <br />Carpenter and unanimously carried, the Board directed staff to seek proposals <br />for a professional management firm to take over management of the Arena and <br />Events Center, with the goal of having the management firm in place by <br />November 1, or no later than January 1, 2005.
