<br />TYPE OF ADJUSTMENT: Internal Transfer within Department
<br />PURPOSE OF REQUEST: To adjust the internal department budgets for Kannapolis
<br />Middle, Fred L. Wilson Elementary, and A. L. Brown High Schools. The amounts
<br />originally budgeted for Site Development at Kannapolis Middle and Fred L.
<br />Wilson Elementary were subsequently included in the Building Improvements
<br />contract. There was only one contract instead of two. The amount
<br />originally budgeted as Furniture & Equipment at A. L. Brown High School was
<br />subsequently needed in Building Improvements.

<br />(F-7) Cabarrus Health Alliance Sublease Agreement
<br />
<br /> A sublease agreement for the portion of the Human Services Building
<br />occupied by Cabarrus Health Alliance (CHA) was submitted for approval. Until
<br />now, the CHA has occupied a portion of the Human Services Building without a
<br />lease. The rental term will be three years with an initial basic rent of
<br />$190,285.00 for FY 2005. The term and escalator coincides with the lease
<br />agreement between the County and the property owner (Kannapolis Land, Inc.).
