Smit, Clerk to the Board <br />Page 1821 <br />(F -6) County Manager - Transfer of Utility Easement at Patriot's Elementary <br />School <br />Cabarrus County and Cabarrus County Schools agreed to provide a private <br />utility easement on the property of Patriot's Elementary School when the <br />property was purchased. That easement has been requested by NVR Ryan Homes <br />for a sale price of $3,188.00. It has been the practice of the Board of <br />Commissioners to approve a budget amendment for the proceeds of these sales <br />to benefit the affected school. That budget amendment is attached. <br />UPON MOTION of Vice Chairman Measmer, seconded by Commissioner Morris <br />and unanimously carried, the Board approved the sale of the easement and <br />adopted the related budget amendment;. and authorized the County Manager to <br />execute the contract documents subject to review and approval by the County <br />Attorney. <br />Date: 10 /14/2013 Amount: $3, 188 <br />Dept. PLEASANT <br />$3,188.00 <br />(F -7) County Manager - Update on Raging Ridge Road Extension and Bridge <br />There has been progress on the Raging Ridge Road project and staff is <br />requesting action on two items by the Board. <br />UPON MOTION of Vice Chairman Measmer, seconded by Commissioner Morris <br />and unanimously carried, the Board authorized staff to submit a petition for <br />voluntary annexation of the Hickory Ridge Middle and High School properties <br />into the Town of Harrisburg.
