CABARRUS COUNTY <br /> 1792 <br /> BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br /> REGULAR MEETING <br /> JANUARY 17, 2017 <br /> 6:30 P.M. <br /> AGENDA CATEGORY: <br /> Consent Agenda <br /> SUBJECT: <br /> Planning and Development - Placid Road ROW Abandonment <br /> BRIEF SUMMARY: <br /> As part of the development of the Castlebrooke Subdivision, roadway <br /> improvements were required. The roadway improvements consisted of <br /> widening Placid Road from the beginning of the Castlebrooke Subdivision <br /> to its intersection with Shiloh Church Road. A re-alignment was also <br /> required at the intersection. This re-alignment required a 90 degree <br /> approach which shifted the overall right-of-way (ROW).
