Change order one is for road improvements required by NCDOT <br /> in the amount of $240,577. Change order two is for permit fees and civil <br /> changes required by the City of Kannapolis in the amount of $349,647. <br /> The Kannapolis Middle School project has a $1 ,026,325 balance of <br /> contingency funds set aside in the County's Capital Reserve Fund. <br /> REQUESTED ACTION: <br /> Motion to approve two change order requests from the project <br /> contingency totaling $590,224 for the Kannapolis Middle School <br /> project and to authorize the Finance Director to prepare the appropriate <br /> budget revision and related Capital Project Ordinances. <br /> EXPECTED LENGTH OF PRESENTATION: <br /> SUBMITTED BY: <br /> Will Crabtree, Kannapolis City Schools <br /> Susan Fearrington, Finance Director <br /> BUDGET AMENDMENT REQUIRED: <br /> Yes <br /> F-5 Page 74 <br />
