CABARRUS COUNTY <br /> 1792 <br /> BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br /> REGULAR MEETING <br /> FEBRUARY 20, 2017 <br /> 6:30 P.M. <br /> AGENDA CATEGORY: <br /> Consent Agenda <br /> SUBJECT: <br /> KCS - Funding Request for Renovations to Convert Kannapolis <br /> Intermediate School to Carver Elementary School <br /> BRIEF SUMMARY: <br /> Kannapolis City Schools (KCS) is currently renovating Kannapolis <br /> Intermediate School to convert it into Carver Elementary School by next <br /> fall. The County has funded $850,000 for this project, but there is a <br /> shortfall in the first contract and additional needs for renovations have <br /> been requested. A detailed spreadsheet is attached to outline the <br /> requested funds.
