179 <br /> 1 <br /> CABARRUS COUNTY <br /> BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br /> NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING <br /> February 20, 2017—6:30 P.M. <br /> Economic Development Investment <br /> Notice is hereby given that the Cabarrus County Board of Commissioners will hold a public <br /> hearing at 6:30 p.m. (or as soon thereafter as persons may be heard) on Monday, February <br /> 20, 2017, in the Board of Commissioners' Meeting Room, located on the second floor of the <br /> Cabarrus County Governmental Center, 65 Church Street SE, Concord, to consider an <br /> economic development investment for Project Pinecone, pursuant to N.C. General Statute § <br /> 158-7.1. Project Pinecone proposes a projected investment in Cabarrus County of <br /> approximately$21 million in real property and$88 million in personal property. A 5-year grant <br /> equivalent to 85% of the ad valorem taxes on the increase in real and personal property tax <br /> values is requested.
