Proposal 3: OAP Plan HRA Elimination <br /> Based on the higher cost of this plan design and the higher administrative costs coupled with <br /> lower use for this particular benefit, we recommend eliminating the $225 Health Reimbursement <br /> Account contribution for FY2018. <br /> Planned effect: <br /> The impact on the renewal from this adjustment is an estimated savings of 1.05%. <br /> Proposal 4: OAP Plan Deductible Increase <br /> The deductible for the OAP plan is currently $1,000 for employees. We recommend moving this <br /> to $1,500 for employees bringing it to the same level as the HSA plan deductible. <br /> Planned effect: <br /> This adjustment will help offset the need for a premium increase to employees selecting the <br /> OAP plan. The impact will be experienced by employees with higher claims this year but will not <br /> be spread among all 600+ employees on this plan. <br /> No other premium rate or plan design changes are recommended beyond these items for <br /> FY2018.
