CABARRUS COUNTY <br /> 1792 <br /> BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br /> C 1 REGULAR MEETING <br /> JUNE 1 % 2017 <br /> 6:30 P.M. <br /> AGENDA CATEGORY: <br /> New Business <br /> SUBJECT: <br /> County Manager - Adoption of the FY18 Cabarrus County Budget - Public <br /> Hearing 6.30 P.M. <br /> BRIEF SUMMARY: <br /> The County Manager presented the proposed Cabarrus County budget for <br /> FY18 to the Board of Commissioners on Monday, May 15, 2017. At that <br /> time, a copy of the proposed budget was placed on file in the clerk's office <br /> and was available for public inspection at the Cabarrus County <br /> Governmental Center during regular business hours. The proposed <br /> budget was also posted on the Cabarrus County website. <br /> Budget workshop meetings were held in the multipurpose room at the <br /> Governmental Center on May 23 and 25. A public hearing is scheduled for <br /> June 19, 2017 at 6:30 p.m. in the Commissioners' Chambers at the <br /> Governmental Center located at 65 Church Street SE in Concord. Citizens <br /> are encouraged to attend and to present written or oral comments. <br /> REQUESTED ACTION: <br /> Hold a public hearing. <br /> Motion to adopt the Cabarrus County Budget Ordinance for the General <br /> Fund, Cabarrus Arena and Events Center Fund, Landfill Fund, 911 <br /> Emergency Telephone Fund, Health and Dental Insurance Fund, and the <br /> Workers Compensation and Liability Insurance Fund for FY18. <br /> Motion to adopt the Cabarrus County Budget Ordinance for the Fire <br /> District Tax Fund for FY18. <br /> G-1 Page 165 <br />
