Staff has been <br /> working with the property owner representatives on finalizing the lease but <br /> there were complications with a cross easement. The real estate <br /> representative for the owners has contacted the County and indicated that <br /> the owners have reconsidered and would prefer an outright sale. They are <br /> offering the property for the appraised price from December 2014. Staff <br /> recommends funding the purchase from FY17 Board of Commissioners <br /> contingency funds. <br /> REQUESTED ACTION: <br /> Motion to approve the purchase of the Concord Senior Center overflow <br /> parking lot property for the amount of $64,000, including the required <br /> budget amendment and to authorize the County Manager to execute the <br /> transfer documents subject to review and revision by the County Attorney, <br /> including authorization for the Finance Director to create the related <br /> budget amendments and project ordinances as necessary. <br /> EXPECTED LENGTH OF PRESENTATION: <br /> 1 Minute <br /> SUBMITTED BY: <br /> Jonathan B.
