ADDITION <br /> CABARRUS COUNTY <br /> 1792 <br /> BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br /> C 1 REGULAR MEETING <br /> JUNE 1 % 2017 <br /> 6:30 P.M. <br /> AGENDA CATEGORY: <br /> New Business <br /> SUBJECT: <br /> EMS - Response Delays Associated With Road Closures for 1-85 <br /> Construction <br /> BRIEF SUMMARY: <br /> EMS staff requests authorization to enter into an agreement with the <br /> contractor for the 1-85 project. The contract will provide funds for the <br /> staffing of an EMS unit on Lane Street for the duration of the simultaneous <br /> closure of Brantley Road and Centergrove Road. Further details are <br /> attached. <br /> An agreement has been drafted by the County Attorney. Staff if awaiting <br /> the name of the contractor to be listed in the agreement. The contractor <br /> will pay the County $19,164.24 monthly during this period.
