1792 <br /> r <br /> CABARRUS COUNTY <br /> BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br /> NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING <br /> July 17, 2017—6:30 P.M. <br /> Economic Development Investment <br /> Notice is hereby given that the Cabarrus County Board of Commissioners will hold a public <br /> hearing at 6:30 p.m. (or as soon thereafter as persons may be heard) on Monday, July 17, <br /> 2017, in the Board of Commissioners' Meeting Room, located on the second floor of the <br /> Cabarrus County Governmental Center, 65 Church Street SE, Concord, to consider an <br /> economic development investment for Project Hercules(developer) pursuant to N.C. General <br /> Statute § 158-7.1. Project Hercules (developer) proposes a projected investment in Cabarrus <br /> County of approximately $50 million in real property. A reimbursement for infrastructure <br /> improvements for an amount up to $1,487,500, (equivalent to a 5-year grant at 85% of the ad <br /> valorem taxes on the increase in real and personal property tax values), is requested.
