CABARRUS COUNTY <br /> 1792 <br /> BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br /> r REGULAR MEETING <br /> SEPTEMBER 18, 2017 <br /> 6:30 P.M. <br /> AGENDA CATEGORY: <br /> New Business <br /> SUBJECT: <br /> Infrastructure and Asset Management — Sale of 2323 Concord Lake Road <br /> BRIEF SUMMARY: <br /> The Board of Commissioners had authorized the listing of the County <br /> office building located at 2323 Concord Lake Road for public sale. The <br /> original asking price set by the Board was $439,900. There have been <br /> interested parties and one offer for purchase that was well below the <br /> asking price. Staff consulted with our sales agent and recommended that <br /> the asking price be lowered. The Board approved the price be amended <br /> to $375,000 at its May 15th regular meeting. All interested parties, <br /> including the group that made an offer, were notified of the new price on <br /> the property. A letter of intent to purchase the property has been received <br /> for $325,000.
