("Kimley-Horn" or"Consultant") is pleased to submit this letter <br /> agreement (the "Agreement") to Cabarrus County Infrastructure and Asset Management ("Client")for <br /> providing site and utility planning and design services for the Elma Lomax Incubator Farm located at <br /> 3435 Atando Road in Concord, NC. <br /> Project Understanding <br /> It is our understanding that the Client wishes to provide master utility services and access road and <br /> parking improvements to begin the process of implementing the Elma C. Lomax Incubator Farm Master <br /> Plan created by Topia and dated June 16, 2016 ("Master Plan"). This scope of services will more <br /> specifically provide preliminary coordination, design and opinion of probable construction costs <br /> ("OPCC") for the extension of public water and sewer services to the site, expansion of the onsite <br /> electrical service, and upgrades to the access road and parking areas. It is further understood, that <br /> following the Client's review of the preliminary design and OPCCs they may wish to move forward with <br /> final design, permitting and construction of the proposed improvements, which can be provided by <br /> Kimley-Horn through amendment to this agreement. <br /> Scope of Services <br /> Kimley-Horn will provide the services specifically set forth below. <br /> Task 1— Proiect Meetings and Limited Due Diligence <br /> Kimley-Horn will attend up to three (3) meetings as part of this task as outlined below: <br /> • Up to one (1) meeting will be held onsite with current operations staff to review the Master <br /> Plan and existing site conditions. During this site visit Kimley-Horn will observe and complete <br /> limited photo-documentation of the existing site conditions. <br /> • Up to one (1) meeting will be held onsite with current operations staff to review the proposed <br /> preliminary Site Plan and Utility Plan developed as part of Task 2. <br /> • Up to one (1) meeting will be held with City of Concord staff and the private franchise utility <br /> representatives at the City's offices to review the preliminary Site Plan and Utility Plan <br /> developed as part of Task 2. <br /> Additionally, to help determine the project utility and site plan improvement design constraints, Kimley- <br /> kimley-horn.com 11 South Tryon Street, - 200, Charlotte, North Carolina 1 2 number 2\n <br /> F-1 Page 20 <br />
