CABARRUS COUNTY <br /> 1792 <br /> BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br /> ir REGULAR MEETING <br /> SEPTEMBER 18, 2017 <br /> 6:30 P.M. <br /> AGENDA CATEGORY: <br /> Consent Agenda <br /> SUBJECT: <br /> Finance - Write-off of Ambulance Receivables for FY 2013 - $1 ,037,503 <br /> BRIEF SUMMARY: <br /> As allowed in North Carolina General Statute 44.51 .4, the County <br /> may treat the amount due for ambulance services the same as if it were a <br /> tax due to the county. The County's policy is to keep three years of <br /> ambulance receivables plus the current year's receivables on the General <br /> Ledger.
