Cabarrus County Rotary Club <br /> Goes to the Dogs <br /> On May 20,2017,the Rotary Club of Cabarrus <br /> County officially dedicated its new dog run located <br /> " at Vietnam Veterans Park in Kannapolis.The dog <br /> run was made possible through a district grant,local <br /> club funds,a sponsorship by Animal Care Clinic of <br /> Concord and a grant from Cabarrus County Active <br /> Living and Parks.The dog run provides a safe and <br /> open space for residents to exercise with their dogs <br /> ;= and enjoy the park.This is the third project Cabar- <br /> rus County Rotary has done with the County parks <br /> system.Rotary Club President Ben Rose,Chair of the <br /> �4 Cabarrus County Board of Commissioners(and club <br /> member) Steve Morris,Kannapolis Councilman Ryan <br /> Dayvault,and Rotary Club District Governor Tom <br /> Cabarrus County Gains Skills Smith dedicated and cut the ribbon for the park.The <br /> A sustainable natural surface trail system built for the club arranged for several animal rescues to attend and <br /> enthusiast in the wooded sections of the Rob Wallace many people came out to enjoy time with their pets. <br /> Park property.The trails built primarily as a mountain <br /> bike trail are"shared use,"meaning they are utilized <br /> as walking and/or hiking trails.
