CAR • 2016 <br />i �'y�J,rJJl� ll <br />1 <br />AGENDA CATEGORY: <br />New Business <br />SUBJECT: <br />Finance - Installment Financing Contract for Constructing and <br />Equipping Public School Facilities - Public Hearing 6:30 P.M. <br />BRIEF SUMMARY: <br />Cabarrus County plans to enter into one or more short and /or long -term <br />installment financing contracts with the Cabarrus County Development <br />Corporation or one or more third parties, for an amount not to exceed <br />$112 million, to finance all or a portion of the cost of constructing and <br />equipping public school facilities and various real and personal property <br />improvements. <br />N.C.G.S. 160A -20 requires a public hearing on the described installment <br />financing contracts for the projects described above.
