This federally funded program provides for energy <br />improvements to homes for low- income families while giving preference to <br />elderly and disabled clients. The program provides upgrades such as <br />insulation, air sealing, water heater and pipe wrap, duct sealing and <br />appliance repairs to create energy savings for low- income families. <br />Clients are often referred to Weatherization from Human Services, non- <br />profit agencies and other jurisdictions. The annual funding amount is <br />determined by the federal and state governments.
