V 1742 <br />n <br />� I <br />CABARRUS COUNTY <br />BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING <br />February 15, 2016 - 6:30 p.m. <br />Proposed Amendment to the Code of Ordinances Article II. — Permits and Inspections <br />Notice is hereby given that the Cabarrus County Board of Commissioners will hold a public hearing <br />at 6:30 p.m. (or as soon thereafter as persons may be heard) on Monday, February 15, 2016, in <br />the Board of Commissioners' Meeting Room located on the second floor of the Cabarrus County <br />Governmental Center, 65 Church Street SE, Concord, to consider a proposed revision to the <br />Cabarrus County Code of Ordinances Article II. - Permits and Inspections Sec. 14 -30. - Additional <br />permit restrictions. The proposed change to the ordinance will reinstate a requirement of electrical <br />testing for persons performing electrical work on their own home. The proposal includes <br />standardized tests that would be administered by Construction Standards staff. <br />Any questions concerning this item should be addressed to the Cabarrus County Planning and <br />Development Services Department at (704) 920 -2142. <br />In accordance with ADA regulations, anyone in need of accommodation to participate in the <br />meeting should notify the ADA Coordinator at 704 - 920 -2100 at least 48 hours prior to the meeting. <br />Megan Smit, Clerk to the Board <br />Posted February 2, 2016 <br />Attachment number 3 \n <br />G -2 Page 106 <br />
