ADDITION <br />CABARRUS COUNTY <br />BOARD OF • • <br />* <br />REGULAR <br />'Noe <br />MAY 16 2016 <br />1 <br />AGENDA CATEGORY: <br />New Business <br />SUBJECT: <br />IAM - Transfer of Surplus Vehicles to Cabarrus County Health Alliance <br />BRIEF SUMMARY: <br />The Cabarrus County Health Alliance has requested two (2) surplus <br />vehicles from Cabarrus County to support the mosquito control program. <br />The vehicles requested for transfer are (2) Ford Crown Vic cars (2007 <br />Ford Crown Vic, Asset #8020, VIN 2FAHP71W27X151708 and 2006 Ford <br />Crown Vic, Asset #2203, VIN 2 FAH P71 W06X1 57649) that were <br />scheduled for surplus at the end of the month. The Infrastructure and <br />Asset Management and Finance Departments have both reviewed the <br />request and the attached vehicle is available for surplus transfer to <br />the Cabarrus County Health Alliance per NCGS 153A -176, 160A -274 and <br />160A -280. <br />REQUESTED ACTION: <br />Motion to declare two County vehicles as surplus property and authorize <br />disposition to the Cabarrus Health Alliance in accordance with the <br />County's policy. <br />EXPECTED LENGTH OF PRESENTATION: <br />5 Minutes <br />SUBMITTED BY: <br />Kyle Bilafer, Infrastructure and Asset Management Director <br />BUDGET AMENDMENT REQUIRED: <br />No <br />G -5 Page 161 <br />
