c k.rm Ste At, <br />a ' <br />X55 � C 1 dti <br />-x r <br />Lomax Center for Agricultural Education <br />Development Plan 2016 - 2026 <br />The Outreach Coordinator will be in charge of the development and maintenance of <br />the Event Retreat Center. This will include marketing, scheduling and accommodating <br />on -farm guests using the facility to further their organization's needs. <br />The Outreach Coordinator will develop the Cabarrus County Agricultural History <br />Exhibit. This position will also facilitate on -farm fundraising and friend - raiser events <br />and will be responsible for the development of programing aimed at bringing the <br />general public onto the farm to learn and enjoy. <br />This position will work with the Land Manager and the Program Director to ensure that <br />multiple visitors to the Lomax Center successfully use the facility at the same time. <br />Key Activities <br />• Manage the Event Retreat Center <br />• Coordinate on -farm visitation <br />• Develop and maintain Cabarrus County AG History Exhibit <br />• Media relationships <br />• Workshop development and oversight. <br />• Assistance with fundraising, marketing and recruitment <br />41 <br />G -6 Page 213 <br />
