Q t; 1792 S <br />Q <br />r Cabarrus County Government <br />June 21, 2016 <br />Cabarrus County Board of Commissioners <br />P O Box 707 <br />Concord NC 28026 <br />Commissioners, <br />A request was sent to The Home and Community Block Grant Committee on <br />June 20, 2016, asking that they review applications for appointment to the <br />Region F Aging Advisory Committee as well as consider two current delegates <br />for possible reappointment to the committee. <br />Upon review of the application, we believe that Mr. Thomas Kurzel will be a <br />valuable asset to the committee. He has served in the past as a Senior Center <br />advisory board member and currently serves as a member of the North Carolina <br />Senior Tar Heel Legislature. He has a special interest in improved services and <br />opportunities for our aging population. <br />Upon review of the reappointment information, we believe that Mr. Ted Drain will <br />continue to be a valuable asset to the committee. He has served in various <br />capacities on a number of local and state committees including the North <br />Carolina Tar Heel Legislature. He is a strong advocate for improved services <br />and opportunities for our aging population. <br />The Home and Community Block Grant Committee recommends the <br />appointment of Mr. Thomas Kurzel and reappointment of Mr. Ted Drain to serve <br />on the Region F Aging Advisory Committee.
