CABARRUS COUNTY <br />BOARD OF • • <br />* <br />REGULAR <br />¢ Ttt eAR�rjr JULY 18 20 <br />� / <br />1 P .M. <br />AGENDA CATEGORY: <br />Consent Agenda <br />SUBJECT: <br />EMS - Request to Purchase Three Ambulance Units <br />BRIEF SUMMARY: <br />EMS is requesting approval to purchase three (3) new Type III <br />Ambulances from First Priority South. The total cost of these ambulances <br />is $479,949.00. In compliance with the County's vehicle replacement <br />policy, the new ambulances will replace ones that have outlived their <br />usefulness. This purchase comes before the Board because the individual <br />unit cost exceeds $90,000.
