The Barr Property had deferred taxes due to its <br />agriculture use. I understand you have talked to Phil Runkel about the additional 2016 <br />taxes for the Barr properties, and the below is a tabulation of the additional taxes. <br />The additional amounts owed for 2016 taxes for each parcel are as follows: <br />• Parcel 1 - $6,821.90 (61.084 -acre parcel) <br />• Parcel 2 - $6,474.84 (40.36 -acre parcel) <br />• Parcel 3 - $2,360.94 (1 -acre parcel) <br />------------------------------------------- <br />Total = $15,657.68 <br />I wish this had been discovered before I went before the County Commission last month <br />to ask for the funding of closing cost. I understand that we were able to close, but the <br />School System needs to ask the County to provide the additional funding to be able to <br />balance the budget for the total land costs.
