Cabarrus county Zoning Ordinance <br />Chapter 4- Overlay Districts and Zones <br />PART I WATERSHED OVERLAY ZONE <br />Section 4 -3 Application of Zone <br />The provisions of this district shall apply within the areas designated as a "Public Water Supply <br />Watershed" by the North Carolina Environmental Management Commission. The designated <br />areas are established on the map entitled "Watershed Protection Map of Cabarrus County, <br />North Carolina" which is adopted simultaneously with this section. Any and all amendments to <br />this overlay district shall take effect and be in force at the date of enactment by the Cabarrus <br />County Board of Commissioners. A foot egetative buffer shall be maintained from the normal pool level on all <br />propefto oining the reservoir. No permanent structures shall be allowed within this <br />buffer area. <br />3. Waterbody buffers shall be established as detailed in the Waterbody Buffer Zone <br />section of this Ordinance. <br />4.
