1792 <br />Resolution Authorizing Donation of Personal Property <br />(Surplus Patrol Car) <br />WHEREAS, Cabarrus County is the owner of a patrol car unit that has been declared surplus <br />based on mileage and hours of use; and <br />WHEREAS, N.C. Gen. Stat. § 160A -280 permits the County to donate personal property to other <br />governmental units as defined in N.C. Gen. Stat. § 160A- 274(a); and <br />WHEREAS, Cabarrus County Schools has requested the surplus unit for use in the Concord High <br />School Law Enforcement Program; <br />THEREFORE, THE CABARRUS COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS RESOLVES THAT; <br />1. The County Commissioners authorize the donation of the patrol car unit to the requesting <br />governmental unit per the requirements of N.C. Gen. Stat. § 160A -280; and <br />2. The County Commissioners authorize County staff to complete the final terms and <br />conditions of the property donation. <br />Adopted this 17 day of October, 2016. <br />CABARRUS COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />By: <br />Stephen M.
