UPDATED <br />CABARRUS COUNTY <br />* <br />REGULAR <br />NOVEMBER 21, 2016 <br />1 <br />AGENDA CATEGORY: <br />Consent Agenda <br />SUBJECT: <br />County Manager - RCCC Funding Request for Owner's Cost, Design and <br />Contingencies <br />BRIEF SUMMARY: <br />Rowan - Cabarrus Community College (RCCC) has requested $2,229,439 in <br />funding for owner's cost, design fees and contingencies. These funds were <br />set aside by the Board in a previous fiscal year awaiting a final site to be <br />selected for the new Advanced Technology Center. The site has been <br />selected and the County is requested to transfer these funds over to a <br />construction fund to track the total project cost for the facility. A budget <br />revision has been prepared to make this transition. <br />REQUESTED ACTION: <br />Motion to adopt budget amendment and related project ordinances. <br />EXPECTED LENGTH OF PRESENTATION: <br />SUBMITTED BY: <br />Pamela S.
