Describe how your agency will ensure coordination with the emergency energy crisis intervention <br /> program under title XXVI (relating to low-income home energy assistance). <br /> SRCAA, Inc.has a Weatherization Assistance/HARRP Program that provides services to Rowan <br /> County residents in an effort to save energy and reduce expenses.These services will continue to <br /> be coordinated for service area participants. In addition, referrals will be provided to participants to <br /> enroll in the Crisis Intervention Program through the Department of Human Services, Cooperative <br /> Christian Ministries, Rowan Helping Ministries, The City of Kannapolis and the Salvation Army. <br /> 10. Describe the needs of low-income youth and your agency's efforts to promote increased <br /> community coordination and collaboration in meeting the needs of low-income youth. <br /> SRCAA, Inc.Career and Education Training Services(Workforce Innovation Opportunity Act, <br /> WIOA) program continues to serve 90 low-income youth annually.These youth are oftentimes <br /> categorized as runaways,are in foster care,and are pregnant teens,and teen offenders. Their <br /> needs include basic literacy skills,the need for a high school diploma or equivalent,andfor <br /> standard housing due to homelessness or disability services. <br /> The Career and Education Training Services(WIOA)Program commits to an intensive and <br /> detailed case management approach for service delivery.
