RESOLUTION 1742 ESTABLISHING THE REGULAR MEETING SCHEDULE FOR CALENDAR YEAR 2017 r WHEREAS, the regular agenda work sessions of the Cabarrus County Board of Commissioners are currently held •. on the first Monday of each month at 4:00 p.m. in the Multipurpose Room at the Governmental Center; and WHEREAS, the regular meetings of the Board of Commissioners are held on the third Monday of each month at 6:30 p.m. in the Commissioners' Meeting Room at the Governmental Center; and WHEREAS, the Martin Luther King, Jr. holiday requires a change in the regular meeting date in January 2017 and the Easter holiday requires a change in the regular meeting date in April 2017; and WHEREAS, the New Year holiday requires a change in the agenda work session meeting date in January 2017, and the Labor Day holiday requires a change in the agenda work session meeting date in September 2017; and NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, the Cabarrus County Board of Commissioners, pursuant to North Carolina General Statute 153A-40(a), does hereby: (1) Establish the Board's regular agenda work session schedule to meet at 4:00 p.m. in the Multipurpose Room at the Governmental Center on the following dates: January 3, 2017 (Tuesday) July 3, 2017 February 6, 2017 August 7, 2017 March 6, 2017 September 5, 2017 (Tuesday) April 3, 2017 October 2, 2017 May 1, 2017 November 6, 2017 June 5, 2017 December 4, 2017 (2) Establish the Board's regular meeting schedule to meet at 6:30 p.m. in the Commissioner's Meeting Room at the Governmental Center on the following dates: January 17, 2017 (Tuesday) July 17, 2017 February 20, 2017 August 21, 2017 March 20, 2017 September 18, 2017 April 18, 2017 (Tuesday) October 16, 2017 May 15, 2017 November 20, 2017 June 19, 2017 December 18, 2017 (3) Sets a NCACC Legislative Goals Conference in Raleigh, North Carolina on January 12 — 13, 2017; and F-3 Page 40
