CABARRUS COUNTY <br />* <br />REGULAR MEETING <br />1 <br />JANUA <br />• P.M. <br />AGENDA CATEGORY: <br />New Business <br />SUBJECT: <br />Planning and Development - HOME Program Public Hearing to Amend <br />Plans - Public Hearing 6:30 P.M. <br />BRIEF SUMMARY: <br />Request to hold a public hearing to amend the 2011 -2012 and the 2012- <br />2013 HOME program funding to allow for a housing reconstruction project <br />and the associated demolition. There is approximately $58,000 left in the <br />FY12 year, so the request is to amend both fiscal years. This request is to <br />replace a home where the estimated repair costs, combined with other <br />program requirements for the situation, present a feasibility issue. This is <br />an atypical situation. The funding and required match are in place for the <br />proposed project.
