The Board approved the <br />following motion at the December 8, 2014 meeting. <br />The Board approved the request for additional project funds, in the amount of $1,144,372.00 for the new <br />Odell Grades 3 -5 Elementary School, from the Cabarrus County Board of Commissioners. <br />Move that we approve the request as written with additionally providing with additional information on <br />adding geothermal and LED lighting and alerting them to the additional cost of improvements on highway <br />73, pending a final decision from NCDOT. <br />As mentioned in the second sentence of the motion, the board will provide information regarding geothermal and <br />LED lighting in order for the commissioners to determine if they want to pursue those options. <br />Thank you for consideration of this request.
