1792 a <br />t <br />� J <br />PUBLIC NOTICE <br />EXCHANGE OF REAL ESTATE <br />Pursuant to N.C. Gen. Stat. § 160A -271, the Cabarrus County Board of Commissioners <br />states its intention to authorize the exchange of certain County -owned real property for certain <br />real property owned by Rob Wallace and wife, Donna Wallace and the Wallace Family, LLC <br />(collectively "Wallace "). <br />The exchange involves the following unimproved tracts of land: <br />The Wallace land to be conveyed to the County is approximately 24.56 acres and is <br />located at 12900 Bethel School Road, Midland, Cabarrus County, North Carolina (PIN 5544 -74- <br />1458). This land will provide a new entrance for the Rob Wallace Park. <br />The County land to be conveyed to Wallace is approximately 33.65 acres and is located <br />at the corner of Wallace Road and Highway 601 South, Midland, Cabarrus County, North <br />Carolina (PIN 5544 -80- 4424). <br />A plat of the properties to be exchanged and a proposed exchange document are available <br />at the Cabarrus County Governmental Center, 65 Church Street, Concord, North Carolina. <br />The Wallace property is valued at approximately $270,000.00 and the County property is <br />valued at approximately $870,000.00. The difference in value between the two properties will <br />be subtracted from the balance owed by the County to Wallace on the purchase money note and <br />deed of trust for the purchase or Rob Wallace Park. <br />All persons interested in this exchange are invited to attend the meeting of the Board of <br />Commissioners to be held in the Commissioners' Chambers at the Cabarrus County <br />Governmental Center, 65 Church Street, Concord, North Carolina at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, <br />January 20, 2015.
