CABARRUS COUNTY <br />* <br />REGULAR MEETING <br />1 <br />�I3 CARS 1� MARCH 16 <br />• P .M. <br />AGENDA CATEGORY: <br />Consent Agenda <br />SUBJECT: <br />County Manager - SMG Agreement Renewal <br />BRIEF SUMMARY: <br />Cabarrus County currently contracts with SMG to manage the operations <br />of the Cabarrus Arena and Events Center. The County has had a positive <br />relationship with SMG for the past 9 1/2 years. The original agreement <br />called for an initial five -year period with an additional five year period <br />should both parties agree.
