CABARRUS COUNTY <br />BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />REGULAR MEETING <br />APRIL 20, 2015 <br />6:30 P.M. <br />AGENDA CATEGORY: <br />Consent Agenda <br />SUBJECT: <br />County Manager - Offer for Purchase of Tax Foreclosure Property <br />BRIEF SUMMARY: <br />Tax foreclosure parcels that are not purchased through the Courthouse <br />auction have been sold using an online surplus property web service. <br />However, there has been an offer for purchase of one of these parcels <br />before it could be placed in that service, and so it is required to be <br />processed through the standard upset bid process. The parcel is located <br />at 132 Ft. Worth Avenue in Kannapolis.
