C. <br />Association of Soil and Water Conservation Districts. <br />Winning contestants and /or teams at the state level are present this <br />evening to be recognized for their accomplishments. The 2014 -2015 <br />conservation education contest topic was "Wetlands are Wonderful!" <br />Through essays, posters, slide shows and speeches, students educated <br />themselves, their schools and their communities about the many benefits <br />wetlands provide. <br />REQUESTED ACTION: <br />Recognize Dennis Testerman and Hannah Hursey to announce <br />contestants. <br />Congratulate contestants on their achievements and acknowledge family <br />members and school personnel for their support. <br />EXPECTED LENGTH OF PRESENTATION: <br />5 Minutes <br />C -3 Page 46 <br />
