CABARRUS COUNTY <br />* <br />REGULAR MEETING <br />JUNE 15 2015 <br />1 <br />�A CA1Lp 1�1�I <br />• P .M. <br />AGENDA CATEGORY: <br />Old Business <br />SUBJECT: <br />County Manager - Proposed Exchange of Property on Rankin Road <br />BRIEF SUMMARY: <br />A property owner at the end of Rankin Road and adjacent to Lake Howell <br />has proposed exchanging property of equal value with Cabarrus County. <br />A copy of part of the survey of Lake Howell with the Fishel property <br />identified is attached as an aerial with the approximate area to be <br />exchanged shown. The concept of this exchange was presented to the <br />Water & Sewer Authority Board and the consensus was to support the <br />exchange with the conditions that there be no additional clearing of <br />County property and that it be clear this will not permit the construction of <br />any additional dwellings. <br />REQUESTED ACTION: <br />Motion to approve the resolution authorizing the exchange of property of <br />equal value and to authorize the County Manager and County Attorney to <br />complete the transaction. <br />EXPECTED LENGTH OF PRESENTATION: <br />1 Minute <br />SUBMITTED BY: <br />Jonathan B.
