From: Dave Zablotny < davezablotny @habitatcabarrus.org> <br />Sent: Thursday, June 04, 2015 12:19 PM <br />To: Kelly Sifford <br />Subject: Follow Up - 30 Acre Land Parcel <br />Kelly, <br />As we have discussed, Habitat for Humanity Cabarrus County is interested <br />in returning the parcel of land <br />donated to the organization by Cabarrus County in December of 2010. <br />At that time, there was interest in developing this land for use as a <br />"green" Habitat development. <br />However, considering the changes in the Habitat Cabarrus approach to <br />serving families in the County <br />and after investigating the significant potential costs in making this <br />hilly and rocky parcel ready for <br />development of single family homes, it has been determined that Habitat <br />Cabarrus is not in a position to <br />utilize the parcel as originally intended.
