Proposals were submitted at the <br />end of May and interviews conducted with qualified providers. Staff <br />recommended the award of the franchise to American TransMed. That <br />recommendation was presented to the Board of Commissioners at the <br />regular meeting in June and a hearing was held. The franchise ordinance <br />was approved on its first reading.
