Proposed Activities (per Action Plan):
2014 -2015 Had no proposed activities as Cabarrus County did not take funding for this year,
however, the 2011 -2012 and 2012 -2013 funding was amended to allow for a reconstruction
of a home and one single family owner occupied rehabilitation.
2. Describe how you provided decent housing and a suitable living environment for
low and moderate - income persons and how it made an impact on identified needs.
Cabarrus County has identified low to moderate income homeowners with substandard
housing as the greatest housing need in its jurisdiction. Most
work is focused on low to moderate income elderly and disabled clients, thereby meeting
the published goals of the program.
