To permit clustering of houses and structures in a manner that will reduce the amount <br />of infrastructure, including paved surfaces and utility easements, necessary for <br />residential development. <br />4. To reduce erosion and sedimentation by minimizing land disturbance and removal of <br />vegetation in residential development. <br />5. To promote interconnected greenways and corridors throughout the community. <br />6. To create contiguous greenspace within and adjacent to the development site. <br />7. To protect scenic views. <br />8. To protect prime agricultural land and retain farming as an economic activity. <br />2. Applicability <br />An open space subdivision is permitted in the AO, CR, LDR, MDR and HDR districts. Applicants <br />shall comply with all other provisions of this ordinance and all other applicable laws, except <br />those that are incompatible with the provisions contained herein. <br />3. Ownership of development site <br />The development site to be subdivided may be held in single and separate ownership or in <br />multiple ownership. If held in multiple ownership, however, the site shall be developed <br />according to a single plan with common authority and common responsibility. <br />4.
