CABARRUS COUNTY <br />BOARD OF • • <br />* <br />REGULAR <br />¢ TN eAR° �jr SEPTEMBER 1 <br />� / <br />1 P .M. <br />AGENDA CATEGORY: <br />Old Business <br />SUBJECT: <br />County Manager - Historic Courthouse Lease <br />BRIEF SUMMARY: <br />Cabarrus County leases the use of the Historic Courthouse to Historic <br />Cabarrus, Incorporated and The Arts Council. In addition, there is a <br />Tenant Use Agreement into which all of the same parties have entered. <br />The County in consultation with the two groups has created a draft of a <br />single amended agreement that combines both the lease and the use <br />agreement. County staff and the County Attorney have met with both <br />parties and the attached lease is presented for BOC approval. <br />REQUESTED ACTION: <br />Motion to approve the amended Historic Courthouse Lease and Use <br />Agreement and to authorize the County Manager to execute the <br />agreement subject to review and revision by the County Attorney. <br />EXPECTED LENGTH OF PRESENTATION: <br />5 Minutes <br />SUBMITTED BY: <br />Jonathan B.
