MOVED <br />CABARRUS COUNTY <br />* <br />REGULAR <br />OCTOBER 19, 2015 <br />1 <br />AGENDA CATEGORY: <br />Consent Agenda <br />SUBJECT: <br />County Manager - ABC Permits on Property Leased from the County <br />BRIEF SUMMARY: <br />The County leases property to some outside agencies and is considering <br />other leases. Requests have been made, potentially with more requests in <br />the future, for leaseholders to be permitted to serve alcohol as a part of <br />their business practice or for events. The Board had not established a <br />policy on how to address these requests. The ABC permits and all <br />requirements of those permits would be the responsibility of the <br />leaseholders. <br />The discussion at the September meeting provided staff direction on how <br />to handle these issues in the future.
