Cabarrus County Participates in 2015 Duke <br />Site Readiness Program_f' - , <br />The Clayton Love site located on HWY 601, directly y ; <br />.< y <br />across from Corning, in Midland was selected for the <br />Duke Site Readiness 2015 program. This program <br />identifies, assesses, and increases awareness of <br />available sites. The EDC staff and resource partners <br />worked throughout 2015 to complete this process. <br />McCallum Sweeney Consulting and Stimmel Associates <br />presented at Midland Town Council's November <br />meeting. <br />Noteworthy News & Events <br />• In November, the Cabarrus County Commission <br />• The EDC staff toured the new Norfolk Southern <br />awarded a public infrastructure grant in the amount <br />intermodal facility at Charlotte Douglas <br />of $930,240 to Beacon Partners for the RiverOaks <br />International Airport in November.
