Cabarrus Roots is a Business Retention and Expansion program, a vital component of an <br />-14 economic development strategy. Existing customers are the best and most <br />C IRBROUC reliable resource to gauge and understand the state of the local economy and to identify <br />7 workforce issues and barriers to growth. <br />December Visit <br />Cardinal Logistics: A third -party transportation company, headquartered in <br />Kannapolis, provides customized logistic solutions to clients throughout the United <br />States. The local facility employs more than 200 people. <br />Seventeen (17) businesses and various resource partners were visited throughout Cabarrus County as an end of year <br />appreciation. It is suspected that the <br />rate is falling due to changes to the state's unemployment system, additional seasonal hiring and the fact that job <br />seekers are dropping out of the workforce altogether.
