WHEREAS, to facilitate regionalism and interoperability, and other users of the <br />Radio System wish to participate in a regional radio advisory council that will: (a) guide the <br />strategic growth and development of the Regional Radio System; (b) establish regional <br />performance and technical standards for the Regional Radio System, and (c) establish <br />interoperability processes and procedures; <br />WHEREAS, and other users of the Regional Radio System desire to enter into <br />Interlocal Agreement For Regional Radio System Governance to participate in the Regional <br />Radio Advisory Council; <br />WHEREAS, desires to authorize a representative to act on its behalf on matters <br />before the Regional Radio Advisory Council; <br />WHEREAS, Article 20 of Chapter 160A of the North Carolina General Statutes authorizes <br />local governments to establish a regional radio advisory council in accordance with the terms of <br />this Agreement; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the <br />hereby: <br />Approves and ratifies the attached Interlocal Agreement For Regional Radio <br />System Governance by and among the City of Charlotte, Mecklenburg County <br />and other users of the Regional Radio System (the "Regional Radio <br />Interlocal "); and <br />2. Appoints the person fulfilling the job of <br />to serve as "Primary <br />Representative" and the person fulfilling the job of to serve as <br />"Alternate Representative" for , under the terms of the Regional <br />Radio Interlocal; <br />13 <br />Attachment number 1 <br />F -5 Page 90 <br />
