November 25, 2013 <br />Resolution Book 44, Page 886 <br />performance and technical standards for the Regional Radio System, and (c) establish <br />interoperability processes and procedures; <br />WHEREAS, the City of Charlotte and other users of the Regional Radio System desire to <br />enter into an Interlocal Agreement For Regional Radio System Governance to participate in the <br />Regional Radio Advisory Council; <br />WHEREAS, Article 20 of Chapter 160A of the North Carolina General Statutes authorizes <br />local governments to establish a regional radio advisory council in accordance with the terms of <br />this Agreement; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City of Charlotte City Council hereby: <br />Approves and ratifies the attached Interlocal Agreement For Regional Radio <br />System Governance by and among the City of Charlotte, Mecklenburg County <br />and other users of the Regional Radio System (the "Regional Radio <br />Interlocal "); <br />2. Appoints the person fulfilling the job of Director of Shared Services to serve as <br />"Regional Radio Advisory Council Sponsor" under the terms of the Regional <br />Radio Interlocal; and <br />Authorizes the City Manager to appoint another person to serve as Regional <br />Radio Advisory Council Sponsor under the Regional Radio Interlocal in the <br />event that the above named person leaves the City of Charlotte employment or <br />is no longer willing or able to serve for any reason. <br />This the 111h day of November, 2013. <br />Attachment number 4 <br />F -5 Page 98 <br />
