The CDBG program provides Kannapolis with the opportunity to develop. a <br />strong community by funding activities that provide decent housing and a suitable living environment and by <br />expanding economic opportunities for low and moderate income persons. Funds may be used to carry out a wide <br />range of community development activities such as neighborhood revitalization, economic development, and the <br />provision of improved community facilities and services. <br />The City uses a competitive application process to make a portion of its CDBG funds available to applicants in <br />- the form of public service grants.
